The short two-game losing streak is officially over from the #25-ranked Grand Valley State Football team as the Lakers went over to the east side of the state and plowed their way to a convincing 59-13 road victory over the winless Wayne State Warriors to retain the Wooden Shoes Trophy and improve their record to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in GLIAC play with two games to go in the regular season.
