The Grand Valley State Football team has a new offensive coordinator in Ian Shoemaker, who joins the Lakers after two years at the University of Hawaii as the co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Shoemaker takes over for Matt Vitzthum, who left to join the University of South Dakota coaching staff.
