#2 GVSU blanks Davenport in regular season finale, to open playoffs against rival Ferris State

The #2-ranked Grand Valley State Football team capped off the 2023 regular season by shutting out their crosstown foe in the #16-ranked Davenport Panthers to capture their second straight outright GLIAC Championship.

The Lakers finish the regular season with a 9-1 overall mark and a perfect 6-0 record in GLIAC play as they get set for postseason play that kicks off this Saturday afternoon at Lubbers Stadium with a first-round matchup against a familiar opponent in the rival Ferris State Bulldogs.
