THIS WEEK’S FEATURED CATS AND DOGS:

MEET JUDD

Judd’s story with us all begins back in May of 2013, when he was transferred here to us from a local shelter. This amazing dog has faced many trials and obstacles, but he conquered them all with a wagging tail and happy face. Below is his story:

"After being dumped at a local shelter, most likely due to his "cherry" eye, Judd has undergone two eye surgeries and is currently living in a foster home.He is a wonderful 4 year old Boxer/English Bulldog mix waiting for his forever home.

Judd was under weight when he was first transferred to our shelter but he has since gained a healthy amount of weight. He has passed his temperament testing and is working on new commands every day. Judd’s confidence in himself has grown leaps and bounds and his quirky personality can now be seen. He is good with other dogs, as long as they are females and he would prefer a home with out cats. He is still working on his house training but does well in a crate.

Because Judd is in a foster home we ask that you contact the shelter to set up an appointment to meet this handsome fellow."

This sweet boy thought that he had found his forever home at last this past July, but unfortunately it wasn’t so. He was recently returned through no fault of his own. Aware of his severe allergies and other medical conditions at the time of adoption, his owner decided that they now cause too much stress in her life and he was "too much work". So our poor boy Judd is back again, waiting to give it another shot at finding his forever home. Could it be you he’s waiting for? Ask about him today.

MEET KITNEY SPEARS

Pet me baby, one more time!

This sweet songstress wants to hit the top of the charts for the favorite furry feline in your life. She adores snuggles and being the center of attention- when staff come near her kennel, she is ready and waiting to be wrapped in a giant cuddle. Kitney is 4 paw declawed, so her number one fan need not worry- holding her close won’t be a “toxic” experience!

Kitney Spears is looking for a special person to make her a part of their life. Being completely blind, she needs someone who will take care to make her home life consistent and safe- no extreme home remodeling for this cutie please!

  Get to know Kitney today!
