Muskegon’s 150th Anniversary Celebration

This year the City of Muskegon is celebrating its Sesquicentennial. It’s not every year that a city turns 150 years old so the City Commission decided to celebrate in a big way!

To recognize 150 glorious years in the City of Muskegon, there will be a three-day concert series at Heritage Landing July 11 – 13, 2019 that will include Bret Michaels, Gretchen Wilson, Kansas, Warrant, and Freddie Jackson!

On Thursday evening, hear Grammy award nominee R&B singer Freddie Jackson with hits like, You are My Lady and Jam Tonight for just $10. On Friday there will be two great bands with Gretchen Wilson, coming through with several country mega hits including Billboards #1 Redneck Woman along with American rock band Kansas with hits such as, Carry On My Wayward Son and Dust in the Wind for just $30.

Join us on Saturday as we bring in Bret Michaels, the legendary multi-platinum singer and songwriter. He has also been a major television personality in recent years, including the hit VH-1 show Rock of Love, Travel Channel’s Rock My RV, and of course his top rated winning season of Celebrity Apprentice. Starting out the evening will be Warrant with hits such as Heaven and Cherry Pie. The entire evening is just $30. Join us on all three-days for a $50 pass!

“The City of Muskegon has been a strong-hold for families, businesses, and visitors for 150 years.”

Muskegon Mayor Steve Gawron said. “That’s a huge reason to celebrate. Please join the City on July 11, 12, and 13 at Heritage Landing to gather with your family, friends, and neighbors.”

Tickets will go on sale March 23 with Star Tickets. Save $5 on a Friday or Saturday ticket or save $10 on a three-day pass by purchasing your tickets March 23 or 24 through Star Tickets. Tickets will also be available at the Blues and BBQ event at the Muskegon Farmers Market starting on March 23 at 5pm.
